Know What You are Paying For!
As many of you know I am the director of ADDClases.com which offers free teleclasses, audio classes and, ADD Programs. We also offer an audio library subscription which costs $9.95 per month. The subscription fee is stated on on the site before people begin the sign up process. It's also stated during the sign up process and so is a statement telling people they will be charged $9.95 per month unless they cancel their subscription before the monthly billing date. Every month I get a number of people contacting me about their subscriptions. Some didn't realize that they were going to be charged each month though it clearly states this more than once. Some don't even know what they signed up for in the first place. Some people want to know when they are going to be getting their tapes sent to them in the mail even though the subscription is for MP3 downloads. I am somebody who understands Attention Deficit Disorder and is trying to help people with Attention Deficit Disorder. I offer a valuable service and state the fees and conditions up front. However there are some people who take advantage of people and try to scam them. Make sure you know up front what you are paying for and what the terms and conditions are. If you are not sure ask questions before paying not after. Don't let people take advantage of you and take your money. A man in a group I attended talked about taking his grandson for an evaluation of the child's ADHD where the Dr. said: "I think you've got ADD, yourself. Hearing the man's symptoms made the proverbial "light bulb" go off in my mind. Needless to say, I went for a professional evaluation, having lived all of my life in a state of impulsivness, confusion and inattention. I'd also endured several "nervous breakdowns" during my teens and twenties, (related to ADD, I now realize) but managed to stay married, care for my children and become a college English teacher in my 40's after a therapist said: "The way you talk, you should be a writer From Our Sponsor Visit the largest and most comprehensive AD/HD online store on the planet which is run by Terry Matlen.
